I won't bore everyone with posts about all the work on the house but one or two parts deserve a mention. The new roof is supported by 27 beams which have been cut from trees in the wood. Andrew prepared them and then the local builder lifted them into place with their loader. It was quite a feat as some of the beams weighed about two tons.
